ABOUT US: INSTINCT MATTERS, INC.
Instinct Matters, Inc. began in 2004 when long-time friends and associates Pam Morris and Sherry Watts decided to combine their talents as Kolbe Consultants. Together, they help small teams, large corporations, families, and individuals find synergy using the Kolbe method.
Their business is a living example of Kolbe at work.  They know first-hand the value in working on a team (be it a family or a business) that relies on every person contributing their natural abilities.  Differences create a strong team – but knowing how to identify these differences and use them effectively is what the power of Kolbe delivers.
Pam Morris was born and raised in Ohio and left the cold for sunny Sarasota, Florida over 33 years ago after graduating college to be a dental hygienist.  Pam soon found that being part of a team and finding communities where she could contribute her innovative spirit would be the key to a happy work-life in many different careers. Pam worked as part of a dynamic dental team in Sarasota for five years until deciding to follow her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for food to open a unique concept restaurant and gourmet shop called Incredibles.  After her second child, Pam realized that it was time to concentrate on raising her growing family.  When her son started pre-school she found a deep-felt passion for education and particularly the Montessori approach which fit with her beliefs in letting children be themselves as a key to self-motivated learning.  With a group of like-minded parents, Pam, as chair of the board, directed the expansion of her children’s school from a small pre-school into a thriving preK- 6thgrade elementary Montessori school. Pam discovered the Kolbe Wisdom in 1997 while attending a Strategic Coach Couple’s conference featuring Kathy Kolbe. Validating the way she takes action as an Innovator Pam made future plans to be certified and in 2000 became a Certified Kolbe Consultant. Pam’s husband Bob and her five children have contributed greatly to her knowledge of how families and teams can prosper when people are aware of each person’s natural strengths.  Pamela Morris has led the life of a successful Kolbe Innovator. She has combined the experiences of her many careers, interests, and her passion for championing people and causes to create yet another venue for contributing who she is to the world.
